Dr Pallavi Singh
Dr Pallavi Singh has been working in Saraswati Dental College, Lucknow from past 10 years and has organized many outreach activities, camps under her supervision. She is currently heading the Department of Public Health Dentistry. She has also facilitated many collaborations and MOU’s of the Department increasing the reach of the institution manifolds. Delivered various lectures on subject related topic to students, faculty, as well as general population. She has an excellent academic record, with more than 60 papers in national & international journals with 6 book & 5 patents published on her name. She is a co-ordinator of various government organizations like Unnat Bharat Abhiyan, National Service Scheme representating the institute. She is also school innovation Evaluator appointed by Ministry of Education Innovation Cell. She is also active in dental public health related activities and is a member of various associations. She has also chaired various sessions at many conferences, CDE’s and workshop. Had successfully completed the course on Global Tobacco Control: Learning from the Experts from John Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health.
Dr Shikha Sachan
Dr Shikha Sachan, a distinguished dental professional, earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) from Babu Banarsi Das College, Lucknow, India. Current serving as a Professor and Head in Department of Public Health Dentistry in Maharana Pratap Dental College and Hospital, kanpur. She has worked as a Junior Resident in king George Dental College, Lucknow India.Since then, she has been actively engaged in teaching the students.She is a renowned teacher with a teaching experience of more than 9 years. She is well known for her impressive style of teaching and is very popular among the student.She has done many publications in various journal.She is also a author of a book which has been published in 2024. She has organised more than 2500 dental camps in underserved communities, providing preventive care and oral health education. Also conducted community oral health surveys and contributed to data analysis for Public Health research and also collaborated with local NGOs, government health worked and dental teams to improve access dental care and also organised tobacco cessation counselling and awareness camps. Participated in National heath events like Worlds oral health day, No Tobacco day, Aids Day, Nutrition Month Programmes.
As a Public Health Dentist she is actively involved in the research, education, and strategic direction developed by health agencies to build a healthy community. As a public health dentist she is actively contributing to community oral health promotion through dental screening camps, School Outreach Programmes and Public Awareness campaigns. She has been focused on improving oral health outcomes among underserved population through accessible and preventive care.
Dr Smriti Tripathi
Dr Smriti Tripathi, a distinguished dental professional, earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) from Maharana Pratap Dental College and Hospital, Kanpur, India and MDS degree from Rama Dental College Hospital and Research Centre, Kanpur. Currently, serving as a Senior Lecturer in Department of Public Health Dentistry in Maharana Pratap Dental College and Hospital, kanpur. Since then, she has been actively engaged in teaching the students with a experience of more than 2 years. She has done publications and also a author of a book. She has organised various dental health checkup camps in various schools, institutions and rural & urban areas and also actively involved in Oral health research and training programmes. As a Public Health Dentist she is focused on promoting oral health and preventing oral diseases within communities and populations.She is a trained professionals with experience in community development programmes and basic health services, as a Public Health Dentist she is focused on promoting oral health and preventing oral diseases within communities and populations, along with their diagnosis and treatment.
